DMX began rapping in the late 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot in the year 1998 and Hell is Dark on May 19, 1998. The other albums he released were... and there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... and then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ, Flesh of Blood and Flesh. His album titled...And then was X was nominated for the Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2001. Alongside his music endeavors he had also appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Will Never Be Alone, The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
